Residentials and Field Trips
Khao Yai 2023
At Traill we believe that students do not just learn in the classroom but benefit from new experiences outside the school. As such, field trips to enhance and support learning take place within and across subject areas. For example, students studying Thai Language and Thai Culture are taken to Ayudhaya, the old capital, to really get a feel for its historical significance. Whilst there, they may also sketch the magnificent ruins and develop these drawings later in their Art lessons.
In addition, once a year all Secondary Students have the opportunity to go on a Residential Trip, usually for about 5 days 4 nights. Some of the aims of the Residential Trip are to build team and communication skills, build self-confidence and self-esteem.
